“A Very Glee Christmas”

Sabotage, heartbreak, deception, gifts -- sounds like a Christmas episode of "Glee." Sudden, random dispensing of all sad plotlines to hurriedly wrap things up happily ever after -- sounds even more like a Christmas episode of "Glee"!

Onto this episode - Guess who doesn't love Christmas? If you said Sue Sylvester, you'd be correct. The forever track-suited cheerleading coach does not enjoy holidays in which the main themes are "cheer" and "joy" and "giving to others." So Sue rigs the McKinley High School staff's Secret Santa program, and all the staffers draw a slip of paper with her name on it. When the other staffers discover her crime, Sue refuses to return the presents, or give them to homeless kids. Glee club coach Will and the other staffers take back the gifts anyway while she's not around, but then stupidly leave them under a tree in the glee club room -- because, hey, this is "Glee." Sue disguises herself as the Grinch who stole Christmas and she and faithful Becky break into the glee club room and destroy their tree, decorations, sheet music and even the piano. Vandalism of school property apparently is not a crime in Gleeville.

Anyway, Sue-as-Grinch also steals the presents from under the tree that were intended for homeless kids -- of course she does! Because, you see, she hates the glee club and glee club coach Will's hair. You had to be there.

And,

In case you've forgotten the place in the Rachel-Finn saga, they are currently "off" because she made out with Puck last week, and Finn's not pleased. Even after Rachel sings "Merry Christmas, Darling," especially for him, and they duet with "Last Christmas" while shopping for Christmas trees, Finn tells her he simply can't forgive her for what she and Puck did. And yet, soon thereafter, Finn is seen walking down the hall at school prattling merrily with Puck. Once Finn gets one foot on the ground, he's really quite a jerk, isn't he? Anyway, Finn and Rachel are through. Forever. Until the next sweep.

Also, Emma and Carl are still married after their quickie Vegas wedding. Will, devastated, decides to spend Christmas alone, wearing truly heinous sweater vests.

Kurt's at his new school, and in a scene totally removed from the other storylines at hand, performs the duet "Baby, It's Cold Outside" with Blaine, in a fancy private-school study room with leather couches and a roaring fireplace. It's the highlight of the episode, on so many levels. Blaine is now officially the object of Kurt's affections, but Blaine has not returned Kurt's love, so ... heartbreak.

Meanwhile,

Brittany…….oh Brittany still naïve as ever believes in Santa Claus, who is sometimes a white guy, sometimes a black guy, sometimes Coach Beiste. Brittany's boyfriend, Artie decides to play along and persuades the glee club to play too. Brittany tells Santa all she wants for Christmas is for wheelchair-bound Artie to be able to walk. The glee guys ask Coach Beiste to break into Brittany's house and give her the harsh truth about Artie not being able to walk, ever. If it weren't so creepy, it would be sweet. But it is so creepy. Anyway, Coach Beiste does that little thing and Brittany is crushed to learn Santa may not be magical after all.

But after all this, guess what? It's nearly time for the episode to end and its many holiday tunes to go on sale. So, some mystery person (Coach Beiste?) suddenly gifts Artie a mechanical contraption, allowing him to stand up and walk. Brittany believes in magic again. The glee kids sing for McKinley High teachers, who donate money so the gang can still give something to the homeless kids after Sue stole their presents. And Sue is so touched by it all, she breaks in to Will's house and returns all the gifts, and decorates Will's Christmas tree with the help of the glee club. That she hates.

So, that’s it folks for the year with a heavy heart……see ya all in the glee episode review section of my blog until after the Superbowl in February

"Furt"

Sorry took me a lot of time to write this cause my downloader was taking ages to download the latest hp7 game. So, here it is;

Another dramatic week, with tons of love, tension and even a little Nazi humor! Kurt’s dad and Finn’s mom tied the knot on last night’s episode of “Glee“, but the drama did not start or end with the wedding. “Furt” delivered some romance, some action, and a few surprises for the students, teachers, and parents at McKinley High. Overall it wasn’t a bad week for the gang…

When Burt Hummel and Carole Hudson announce they are getting married, instead of hiring a band the couple gets New Directions to perform at their wedding. At McKinley, Sue’s mother (guest star Carol Burnett) arrives unexpectedly, and Kurt’s ongoing confrontation with his bully comes to blows.

This episode like a lot of other Glee episodes come a stand again a few problem of the common public. Featuring some family drama that gave excellent insight into the characters’ dispositions and provocations, and showed how far these characters have come throughout the show. Sue’s mom Doris (Carole Burnett) returns to Ohio after her Nazi-hunting duties are finished, but her daughter does not exactly welcome her with open arms. The more we learn about Sue, the more her abrasive and often absurd behavior makes sense. Her “life is tough, get a helmet” attitude is a result of having to basically fend for herself and parent her disabled sister while her parents were off doing something, in their minds, more important.

Also, Finn has long been reluctant to befriend Kurt let alone rise to his new brother’s defense, because he is uncomfortable with Kurt’s homosexuality. When Mike, Artie, and Sam take on Dave Kronofsky in Kurt’s defense, Finn’s absence from the ensuing fight raises more than a few eyebrows in the choir room. This is an ongoing issue on the show that it well addresses and much like real life not easily solved. This weeks episode once again raises the stacks on the issue once again. One wonders how far they will go?

But on a more cheesier note “Love is in the air” Burt and Carole’s wedding prompted examination of the many couples on Glee, and how each are –

Rachel and Finn’s relationship seems almost perfect these days, but may soon be rocked by a revelation about Finn’s (nonexistent) virginity and his one-night stand with Santana. Though Finn dealt with Santana, how long will/can he keep the secret from Rachel?

Sam offers Quinn a promise ring, which, among other things, promises to catapult the adorable golden-haired couple to Brangelina status on the McKinley social structure. What are Sam’s real motivations, though? Early on in the episode, he confesses to Finn that his desire to be popular that made him want to be with Quinn; later on, he tells her he loves her, and sounds convincing.

Sue, on the other hand, has identified the person who she most wants to spend her life with: herself. Though played for laughs, this declaration of proud single-ness was refreshing in the midst of a couple-centric ep. This was another example of the genius of Sue Sylvester- though harsh, she is who she is without apologies and embraces her life for what it is without complaint.

But the major plot maneuver - After suffering extreme emotional and physical distress because of Dave Karofsky’s repeated bullying, Kurt decides its time to make a serious change. He, along with his parents, decide it is best for him transfer to Dalton Academy after Karofsky’s expulsion is overturned by the school board. This signals a major change for Kurt and for the show, and will certainly heighten the stakes at Sectionals, where as Rachel points out, Kurt will compete against New Directions.

Though “Furt” had its sentimental moments, the major character insights and developments, couple with swift plot movement kept the episode from getting too sappy. It was definitely a game-changing hour for “Glee” on a multitude of levels, most prominently Kurt’s decision to leave McKinley High and Finn.

Well moving on next week we have the ninth episode of the season titled “Special Education” - New Directions performs at Sectionals, competing against the Dalton Academy Warblers and the Warren Township Hipsters. While the relationship between guidance counselor Emma Pillsbury (Jayma Mays) and dentist Carl Howell (John Stamos) develops, those of some of the students meet rough patches.

"The" sexy "Substitute"!!!!

Glee Season 2 Episode 7 “The Substitute” Gwyneth Paltrow made her much hyped guest appearance as substitute teacher Holly Holiday. Holly replaced Will as both Spanish teacher and glee club director, Sue became principal, and Terri returned, speaking in a baby voice that’s going to give me nightmares. It may sound like a recipe for disaster, but for the most part it all worked out.

After Will catches a virulent strain of the monkey flu and hallucinates a choir room full of mini-Gleeks (who all by the way looked totally cute!), Holly arrives as his substitute. She seemed pretty darn perfect at first—she spoke Spanish with a flawless accent, she did an impressive version of Cee-Lo Green’s “Forget You,” bonded with the kids over Taco Bell and with Sue over Animal Hoarders and red wine, and she even cart-wheeled while performing “Nowadays/Hot Honey Rag” from Chicago with Rachel. She seemed like the coolest teacher ever… until she revealed she can’t commit to staying at one school for more than a month.

Let’s Talk about the Good and Bad seen shall we?

As the ultimate substitute, Paltrow’s casual sexy and fresh Holly Holliday brings a fresh perspective to glee club and a new dimension to the show. Holly describes herself as the “cure for the common class.” She is like a super permissive parent; she presents Lindsay Lohan as a topic for class discussion, suggests a trip to Taco Bell and nonchalantly drops a medical marijuana reference.

Glee functions as an excellent arbitor of pop culture and social commentary, and this episode provided a platform to discuss a multitude of relevant issues. When Schue confronts Holly about her laissez-faire teaching style, she makes a few excellent points about how education needs to adapt to the 21st century in order to reach students. Last week’s commentary on bullying continued this week, as the confrontation between Kurt and his tormentor escalated, resulting in a death threat that will likely be a major issue in coming episodes.”The Substitute” also weighed in the debate about nutrition in schools, via Principal Sue’s ‘war on junk food.’

Kurt embracing his more flamboyant side via his blossoming relationship with Blaine makes Mercedes feel left out. Kurt is not just her best friend; he also he fills the male presence void typically assigned to boyfriends, just with a little more flair. For Mercedes, being unable to connect with Kurt about a new dimension to his life is frustrating and saddening. This is a tale as old as time- straight girls with best gay friends the world over have felt this rejection when, suddenly, their BGF has someone else, who is theoretically better suited as a confidant. Exploring this dynamic will make for excellent conflict in future episodes.

On another note, Mr. Schue was a major presence this week, and mostly redeemed himself for the jealous weirdness and questionable decisions of episodes past. He really does care about his students; it is clear that losing leadership of glee club is more about losing this beautiful relationship with the students and not about a selfish need for control, like Sue. Terri returns, crazy eyes, baby voice and all, to bring out the worst in her ex-husband. She takes advantage of Will while he is sick, though he does bear some responsibility for sleeping with a woman who is clearly unstable; when she comes flying into his apartment in a jealous rage, it is hard to feel sorry for him.

So what did you think of Gwyneth on Glee? I thought she fit in well with the rest of the cast and held her own during the performances, which seemed rather elaborate in this episode. From Holly and Rachel’s Chicago number to Mike Chang and Mr. Schue’s version of “Make ‘Em Laugh” to the Umbrella/Singin’ in the Rain finale with everyone splashing around—I think they upped their budget for this episode. Gwyneth and the rest of the Gleeks seemed to be having a blast, so that made this a fun episode for me.

Now next Tuesday November 23 airs episode 8 of this season titled Furt, as glee club co-captains Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) and Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith) move forward in their relationship, club member Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer) faces a key decision in his life and commences preparations for his father Burt's (Mike O'Malley) impending marriage to Finn's mother Carole (Romy Rosemont). Wanting to compete, Sue also decides to be wed, which brings her Nazi hunter mother Doris (Carol Burnett) to Lima, Ohio for a surprise visit.

First Look At Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow, most recently seen on the big screen in Iron Man 2, will be making the transition to the small screen on the November 16 episode of Glee.  In the episode, Mr. Schuester calls in a substitute teacher who ends up becoming fast friends with the glee club.  Paltrow's not just there to look pretty - she's also planing to break out in a song or two.
Paltrow will be singing a toned-down version of "F**k You", as well as a mash-up of "Umbrella" and "Singing in the Rain".  The photos above and below (courtesy of E!Online) is from that performance.
Meanwhile, Jane Lynch spoke to E!Online about working with Paltrow and thought that she was a terrific guest star:
"She can deliver the goods," Lynch told me at BAFTA L.A.'s Britannia Awards. "She's a quadruple threat. We knew she could act, we knew she was gorgeous, but she sings and dances amazingly well, too!
"She's so good. You would never know it. You'd think, 'Oh, she's probably going to have to fake her way through it.' Not at all. She's a hoofer!"
Below is the synopsis for the November 16 episode.

GLEE : Darren Criss is "Teenage Dream"

It’s that time of the week when we hear snippets of the songs from the next episode of Glee and pretend we can tell which one will be the best. Listen below to the tracks from the “Never Been Kissed” episode. Per Fox, “After Finn and Sam find an unconventional way of controlling their urges, a few glee club members pick up on the strategy and start using it too. But when Coach Beiste gets wind of what they are up to, the glee club has some explaining to do.” This involves two mashups: The boys (pictured, looking Motown-ready) do the Supremes’ “Stop! In the Name of the Love” with En Vogue’s “Free Your Mind,” while the girls get Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer” and the Rolling Stones’ “Start Me Up.” My thoughts: “Free Your Mind” will always be a ringer, and even though I love Bon Jovi, I’m now more excited to hear Mercedes take the lead on the Stones. New cast member Darren Criss(as Blaine, a gay student on the rival Dalton Academy Warblers) makes his first appearance to sing lead on a catchy rendition of Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream,” while Puck and Artie’s “friendship” results in a duet of Bob Marley’s “One Love (People Get Ready).”

GLEE : Kurt's boyfriend is revealed

"Glee" skips this week from airing a new episode but FOX offers a new sneak peek of the next one. Titled "Never Been Kissed", it looks like the episode is going to focus largely on Kurt's new finding which comes in the form of Darren Criss.

Kurt is considering a transfer to another school, words are it has something to do with him getting a love interest. At the end of the preview, Mr. Schue informed his students that they have a new competition calling themselves Dalton Academy Warblers. It is an all-boys boarding school where Criss' Blaine is schooled. According to some reports, Blaine and Kurt would perform "Teenage Dream" together.

Despite the episode's title, EW said in its corrected news that the ones smooching are not Kurt and Blaine. However, Chris Colfer said fans should expect something big happening to Kurt. "It's so big that we had a full meeting about it that we can't say anything. That's never happened before. I will say it's about Kurt," Colfer teased.

Talking further to TV Guide, Colfer admitted he was surprised when reading the script. "And then I thought, 'This is so terrific.' It's going to send a whole other message to the world," he gushed.

"Never Been Kissed" airs November 9 on FOX.

The Rocky Horror Glee Show

I have a confession: before it was announced that Glee was doing a tribute episode of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, I simply had no clue at what it was all about until I saw it a week prior to The Rocky Horror Glee Show is aired on Fox and I would like to say that it proved to be very beneficial for me to relate to the three decades old movie.

That said and done, I loved this episode.

Why?

Because it incorporated fun songs into already established storylines and gave them a new look. And what was the best part of the deal; it was more of a Rocky Horror tribute than a remake, as Glee put its own spin on the musical. Even though they sanitized it a bit, “The Rocky Horror Glee Show” was still quite risqué (All those abs! The gold shorts! Will and Emma!).

The relationship between Will and Emma hasn't been featured much this season, but that changed this week, as the inspiration behind honoring Rocky Horror felt organic, like a natural (albeit moronic and self-centered) decision Will would make in the face of losing Emma to Carl.

Unlike the Britney-based trainwreck of a few weeks ago, nothing about this episode felt forced. Which is an impressive feat to pull off, considering how random it may have seemed to some viewers that every song was from a film that came out over three decades ago.

Neither Brad (Finn) nor Janet (Rachel) ended up in bed with Dr. Frank-N-Furter, but there was still a whole lot of sexiness going on. Between Sam, Mr. Schue, and Finn the abs were out of control tonight. And how hot was Will and Emma’s “Toucha Toucha Touch Me?” I love those two together, but it looks like Dr. Carl is here to stay for the time being. I can live with that because Dr. Carl seems good for Emma and John Stamos is a wonderful addition to Glee. I’ve been looking forward to hearing him sing on the show, and he didn’t disappoint—his version of “Hot Patootie” (or as iTunes calls it “Whatever Happened to Saturday Night?”) was fantastic.

One of the biggest changes Glee made was having Mercedes play Dr. Frank-N-Furter, the role Tim Curry played in the 1975 movie. They played down the transvestite aspect of the role, and changed the lyrics in “Sweet Transvestite” to “Sin-sational, Transylvania,” rather than “Transsexual, Transylvania.” It was really different to see Mercedes play Dr. Frank-N-Furter, but ultimately I enjoyed her take on it.

Original Rocky Horror actors Barry Bostwick and Meat Loaf made cameos as mangers of the local TV station.

The casting was great—Kurt as Riff Raff was brilliant and Finn and Rachel were ridiculously cute as Brad and Janet.

Puck has been noticeably absent these past two episodes. But not to worry he returns in Never Been Kissed.

Sue’s Corner is back and it looks like she has set her eyes on a local Grammy.

Overall, I thought “The Rocky Horror Glee Show” was a fun episode. The way they worked it into the plot made sense to me, and it didn’t feel as forced as some of the other theme episodes. Even though Will was acting kind of stupid, it seemed believable that his feelings for Emma would cloud his judgment. I also really enjoyed the music, with “Time Warp” and “Hot Patootie” being my favorite performances.

Some Glee Season 2 spoiler!

I'm sure you all are still on the weeping stage after a heavily emotional "Grilled Chessus", so dry it out and i have some new hints to share that were recently revealed by Ryan Murphy.

Here goes nothing.......

Jonathan Groff (yes!yes! make a noise people) is about to start in the back "9" Episodes of season 2 somewhere after January 2011. According to Mr. Murphy he won't be available till the above mentioned date, as told to E! news (Good enough for me and for you all as well i hope.

Here are a few other tidbits and spoilers Murphy shared:

On the post-Super Bowl episode: I feel like everyone's already talking about Michael Jackson or Springsteen or Prince, but I want to do something that no one would suspect. Just some random person, I don't know. I have a couple feelers out to several artists, all of whom have said yes - which I never expected, so now I have to choose.

Was Matthew Morrison really gonna shave his head for the Britney episode? That was never seriously going to happen, it was just an idea. It was discussed as one of many things to do because she's had many pop culture events, but it was quickly discarded. None of us really felt it was appropriate.

What's ahead for Finn and Rachel (they definitely need to break up, zero chemistry there)? There is trouble ahead when Rachel plays spin the bottle!

Its getting more and more interesting by every episode. What do you all say?

Its a heavy and emotional "Grilled Cheesus"

Once in a blue moon, Glee comes up with a gem, and it's unbelievable that this is a week after last week's Britney episode which had no semblance of plot or theme. "Grilled Cheesus" tackles a subject rife with pitfalls--religion. The episode could have been dripping with condescension, filled with stereotypes, and every other negative imaginable. But it's none of them.

While I thought the show paid disservice to its characters and any sense of storytelling on "Brittany/Britney," I was blown away by the mature way it broached God, atheism and spirituality on "Grilled Cheesus." Few Glee hours will be as weighty — yet also, in a way, as wacky. When a plot takes off from a Jesus image on Finn’s grilled cheese sandwich, you know this isn’t your parents’ sermonette. This isGlee, where moments of levity laced an otherwise sobering tale of Burt Hummel’s coma, son Kurt’s (and Sue’s) atheism and a general wrestling with the concepts of faith vs. luck, solitary stoutness vs. the succor of family, and organized religion vs. innate spirituality — there being a big distinction between the last two.

Though the acting was strong, I was most proud of this episode musically, with seven superb songs and an emphasis on meaning, not fun but flimsy showboating. And the best of the night, for me, was Papa Can You Hear Me, Rachel’s second ode to idol Barbra Streisand, but more importantly, the most beautifully sung number in Glee’s history to date. Lea Michele, we already knew you could do more than belt, but this was special. You had me at “Papa.”

But Mercedes’ (Amber Riley’s) heartfelt I Look to You wasn’t far behind, while Finn’s spin on REM’s Losing My Religion brought the song a pained edge, and the full-church Bridge Over Troubled Water was a welcomely boisterous celebration of faith amid the show’s morose meditativeness.

But beyond Rachel’s Yentl tribute, the night’s best numbers were Kurt’s (Chris Colfert’s) tearfully moving I Want to Hold Your Hand, a dramatic, slowed-tempo entreaty along the lines of TV Carpio’s version of the early Beatles rocker in the film Across the Universe, and the full cast’s One of Us, a stirring remake of Joan Osborne’s soulful 1995 pop hit written by Eric Bazilian, formerly of Philly band the Hooters (and Baby Grand, if you go back that far). One quibble: It didn’t last as long as Glee’s studio version, whose final 45 seconds soar with exquisite harmonies.

Plotwise, I’d have liked seeing more of Kurt at his dad’s bedside and less of him moping uselessly at school. But Sue’s visit with her sister — and closed-door confession to Emma — richly enhanced her character. And assenting that her sister pray for her was the most vulnerable moment of the crusty Jane Lynch character’s life.

Fittingly, Grilled Cheesus was ecumenical, not dogmatic, and asked far more questions than it dared answer. But it did leave us with a clear, strong sense that Glee isn’t just a comedic song-and-dance revue, but a meaningful assessment of the human condition. And happily, that was nothing new.

If there’s one thing Glee has proven since its first notes of Don’t Stop Believin’, it’s that this show — for all its highjinks and hilarity — has what any religion, any righteous God or any truly spiritual person must have: loving compassion. And that, in itself, is religion enough for me.

Roll on next week its some "Duets" time, the glee club members work on a duet assignment. Co-captains Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith) and Rachel Berry(Lea Michele) plan to throw the competition in favor of new recruit Sam Evans (Chord Overstreet), and a love triangle develops between Mike Chang (Harry Shum, Jr.), Tina Cohen-Chang (Jenna Ushkowitz) and Artie Abrams (Kevin McHale).

"Hit Me Baby One More Time!"

For what was the most talked about episode for the ‘Gleeks’ in the off season, the Britney Spears episode of Glee Season 2 titled "Britney/Brittany" was aired on Tuesday night on Fox. Some of the experts felt that it was a bold move by the creators of the show as such a hyped episode could have kept the audience riveted till the end of the season. Another positive ASPECT that the fans can take from the airing of the episode is that the bigger surprises are yet to come in the show.
Not much of a plot the entire episode revolved around Britney Spears and her videos that the cast dreamt about in the dentist’s chair while under the effect of Anesthesia. With each of the cast members(Brittany, Santana, Rachel, Artie) having their own Britney Spears’ video where they imagined themselves as the pop icon or saw the diva herself, the audience were treated to some great pop music. Though not all the covers can be called up to the mark, the Britney Spears fans and the ‘Glee’ fans are sure satisfied by seeing their favorite pop icon in their favorite TV show.
The critics gave a mixed review to the episode with some feeling that the ‘Toxic’ star should have had more screen time. Apart from the music, there was also some drama in episode 2 of the second season of ‘Glee’.
The best thing about this episode was how heavily it featured Brittany. It was the first time we’ve seen so much of her and Heather Morris killed it. That girl has impeccable comic timing, crazy-good dance skills, she can sing and she has a slammin’ bod. What more could you ask for?
The show began with Kurt petitioning Mr. Schue to allow them to sing some Britney music. Honestly, I’m shocked they hadn’t already covered her. The other glee kids agreed (loved Artie’s “Spears is fierce, yo!”) save for Brittany, who said because her name is Brittany Susan Pierce “I’ve lived my entire life in her shadow” and that “It’s been a hard road.” Seriously, Brittany had so many fantastic one-liners in this episode, I can’t possibly include them all.

Cut to Brittany at the dentist, getting put under to have some cavities filled just as Britney comes on the radio. In Brittany’s anesthesia induced fantasy she sang “I’m a Slave 4 U”, wore all the best Britney costumes – The snake! The red plastic jumpsuit! The sparkly body suit! – and nailed all the best Britney choreography. She came out of the fog of drugs and re-entered her own fog of reality and asked the dentist “Are you a cat?”

Hit Me Baby, One More Time…With That Anesthesia!

Brittany returned for more dental work and more drugs with best bud Santana, and the two had a synced fantasy where they performed “Me Against The Music” as Britney and Madonna – with a not-so-surprise appearance by Britney herself at the end. Brittany returned to glee rehearsal with a new love for Britney Spears and a new found confidence, demanding solos and saying “I’m more talented than all of you, I can see that clearly now.”

Rachel and Artie were up next at the dentist – Rachel reenacted the “Baby One More Time” video in her fantasy(which was the coolest), and Artie sang “Stronger” along with the football team in his. Sure, it sounds stupid. It was a silly episode. But that doesn’t make it any less enjoyable.
Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman?

Brittany wasn’t the only kid who found confidence in her Britney dreams. Rachel started dressing sexier and Artie officially joined the football team – along with Finn, who Coach Bieste reinstated. I loved how manipulative Rachel was this episode. Kudos to Lea Michele for not being afraid to play her as totally unlikable. Not only did she basically tell Finn (why don't their characters break-up, its clearly visible they have zero chemistry between them) that she was happy he’d been kicked off the football team because it made him less desirable and because “I want to be the only thing that makes you happy”, but she also convinced Quinn to proposition him as a test. So manipulative!

I’m not sure what will become of Artie on the football team, but whatever happens will be worth it because of Brittnay’s “Did you get a leg transplant?” line. For reals.

Sqeaky Clean

The other exciting thing this episode was the debut of John Stamos as Dr. Carl Howell. I love John Stamos. And weirdly enough, I didn’t watch a ton of Full House growing up – I love him from ER. Anyway, I really liked him on the show. If I didn’t want Will and Emma to be together I would totally dig him as her love interest. He’s helping her to get over her issues by making her mix up red grapes and green grapes in a bowl (I don’t think I could deal with that – I have WAY too much in common with Emma Pillsbury) which Emma described as “madness, sheer madness!”

Dirty Dancing

I loved the “Toxic” performance, and I loved it even more because Mr. Schue decided to take part. It was so inappropriate! And so hilarious! Had he not performed, it would have been too similar a performance to “Push It” last season – New Directions rebels and sings something sexy and cool? Old news. Mr. Schue up there writhing around with them? Awesomely awkward.

By the way, I know Mr. Schue was going through a bit of an identity crisis with the singing of the Britney and the buying of the sports car, but did he have to return the sports car and take back that heap of junk he’d been driving? Why didn’t he return the sports car and take a nice Yaris or something instead? Why keep dricing the clunker? Happy mediums, Schue. Happy mediums.

I loved Sue’s reaction to the performance and the “Britney Spears sex riot” that ensued. She threatened to sue Will over her injured neck, made an awesome Gloria Allred reference and told him she’d take him for everything he has, including “your extensive collection of vests. Seriously, you wear more vests than the cast of Blossom.”

The Exception

I loved the episode, but with one exception was "The Only Exception". It just didn’t fit, and why does Rachel always have to close with a solo? I like Paramore and the song fit Lea Michele's voice than it did with Haley Williams, but that song did not suit the episode when it was basically about Britney Spears. And the Rachel/Finn drama was a subplot, so why close with her soliloquy about how she needs to let Finn fly? Was it so that we could hear Brittany ask “Finn can fly?”? Actually, if that was the reason then I can accept it. Otherwise, I thought it was a stupid ending. But let’s look at  the other stuff from the episode that had me cracking up”

  1. Everything Brittany said.
  2. Brittany having cavities in all her teeth because she was “pretty sure Dr. Pepper was a dentist”.
  3. “You dress like the bait girls on To Catch a Predator.” – Santana, on Rachel’s old look
  4. “Normally you dress like the fantasy of a Japanese businessman with a very dark and specific fetish.” – Santana, commenting on Rachel’s new look (Actually, Santana had a lot of great lines this week!)
  5. The return of Terri!
  6. Brittany informing everyone that she’ll now do all the solos, starting with a Ke$ha cover next week.

So, are you guys excited about next week episode "Grilled Cheese"evidently the most controversial episode for Glee, as it will focus on religion and what God means to the members of the glee club.
