About The Author:-
Anyone who knows me could tell you, I am a friendly kind of person, never met a stranger and take up conversations anywhere at any time. I work hard, and my mind never seems to shut down, as I wake up often in the middle of the night with ideas pouring out and demanding to be dealt with. Of course that means much of my books were written in the middle of the night.
I grew up and still live in the great state of Texas where everything is bigger, where we have warm weather and a central location. I love my state, my town, and my family, which includes my four sons, my significant other, and many friends as well.
I have thoroughly enjoyed writing the books that are currently available and hope you will enjoy reading them just as much. And of course, there will be many more stories to come.

˃˃˃ Excerpt
"Quietly, he explained to her that he was going to arrange for another group to kill the Dragons and send her to live with someone who would take care of her. Not understanding, she asked why she would have to go with someone else. If the Dragons were dead, why couldn't she just go with him? He refused to explain, and simply said, "You are going to have a different life, baby girl. A life I cannot give you. You must be strong and willing to do whatever it takes to make this happen. Promise me you will do this...."
˃˃˃ Book 1 of 7 in A New Life Series
This is the first in a series that chronicles the life of a young woman who is raised by a group of men who work as freelance mercenaries in the dark world of drug trafficking and murder for hire. They acquired the young woman at a very young age, as she has no memory of life before them. The book opens as she has broken free and moves through a series of current events and flashbacks that explain the beginning of her story. It is very dark with an unfinished feel, because in the end, the past is not the real story - the real story is what happens from here.
˃˃˃ WARNING: GRAPHIC SCENES
This book is intended for readers 18+ and contains scenes that may cause distress to some readers: Domestic Abuse, Kidnapping, Rape and Substance Abuse are described in detail.
From the Author's Desk: Walk in my shoes… by Samantha Jacobey
Today was an ordinary day, like any other. I woke up early, just before 5 am, and snuggled into my blankets a little deeper. Some days I awake, my head crowded with ideas and voices screaming to be heard. This morning, I ignored them, opting to close my eyes and listen to the quiet of the house for a little longer.
Hearing the sound of my significant other moving around in the kitchen, I knew that coffee would be ready soon, and that was enough to get me stirring. After a trip to the bathroom and straightening of the bed covers, I made my way into the office to flick on my computer and go in search of my mug of good-morning. Suffice it to say, I like a little coffee with my sugar and cream, and it was delicious.
Back at my desk, I sipped my fresh brew while I emptied the email – light today, only 63 messages. Most of them are Facebook notices, but I like them because I am able to see what’s going on and go to the page if I want to from there. Then it’s on to the spamming, scanning, and chatting, but not enough I’m afraid, because I had to be in early this morning for a meeting. Ah, the end of the year is close, and that makes it easier to get through all the push and pull of bureaucracy.
Rushing to work, I make it in time, set up my room, and head to the Library, ten whole minutes worth. Couldn’t we have just put this in an email? Oh well, time to go piddle around on the computer for 2 hours until my first class – wheeeeee! And I get to write. Oh joy, I love the days when I get to write! And my room is quiet, with just me and the click of the keys.
Soon there are students, and time ticks by, day chopped into bits of time, 50 minutes per segment. If you didn’t know, I am a high school teacher. For five more weeks I am, at least. After that, I am free, and a little sad, but ready to go and do something else for a while. Something like create and dream, and put my stories into pages to share with the world. The day speeds by in its tiny chunks of activity, and in between my mind turns constantly, planning, thinking, drifting from reality to fantasy and back again.
Last class, time to clean up. No students for tutorials? Oh, only one, who stopped by to say she couldn’t stay. Bummer. Alrightly then! Pack it up and head to the house, more email checking, holy lord 465 messages, spamming and surfing before dinner. Where will we go tonight? We always eat out, but looking forward to summer so I can stock my fridge and prepare some meals at home, when I have time to cook and clean and hang around. And read! I would love to have hours upon hours to just… read.
Back at home, again to work on being an author, reading a bit or networking the norm, as writing is impossible in the noise of the house. Oh well, time for bed, so off I go to dream… good night!
